informa[TE] is an initiative aimed at equipping older LGTBIQ+ people with tools and educational resources to identify hate speech, hoaxes, scams and fake news.
Through talks, workshops and digital mentoring, we will learn how disinformation works today, with special attention to older people and the LGTBIQ+ community.

With the chatbot from Maldita.es you can learn about misinformation, stay updated on what is published on Maldita.es, automatically verify the content you receive and, the latest, report scams and receive advice to avoid falling for them.
First, you need to save the number +34 644 22 93 19in the contacts andopen a conversation on WhatsApp. Once you greet the bot (a “hello” is enough), the first time it will greet you back, share a video tutorial explaining its use, and invite you to read theprivacy policy ofMaldita.es, and it will offer you a menu with a series of options for you to decide your path using the chatbot: from verifying content to completing a fun challenge after taking some lessons to identify misinformation. You will also be able to choose or receive the latest verifications from Maldita.es in audio or text.
